Lincsolution Recognized for Contributing to Army Drone Advancement and Military Logistics Innovation Through 3dPrinting.
Lincsolution, a specialized smart manufacturing company based on 3D printing, has been recognized for its contributions to advancing the Army’s drones and innovating military logistics through 3D printing.
Lincsolution (CEO Choi Geun-sik) announced on the 22nd that it attended the “Drone Advancement Industry-Academia Cooperation Meeting” hosted by the Army’s 72nd Infantry Division, where it received a certificate of appreciation and discussed future cooperation plans for drone force enhancement and military logistics innovation.
This meeting served as a follow-up event to the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed last April. It was organized to strengthen the public-military-academic cooperation framework and explore future directions in support of the Ministry of National Defense’s “500,000 Drone Warriors Cultivation” policy and the development of the pilot drone operation unit.
The event was attended by 16 key representatives from the public, military, and academia, including Brigadier General Choi Hoon, Commander of the 72nd Infantry Division; Lincsolution; drone specialists GA and Narshatek; AI and defense security solution provider Funzin; and Korea Polytechnic University Aerospace Campus’s Aviation Mobility Department.
During the event, Lincsolution was awarded a certificate of appreciation in recognition of its contributions to supporting the division’s drone advancement and establishing a foundation for reserve-force drones. Lincsolution has maintained ongoing cooperation with the division by demonstrating the feasibility of building an immediate response manufacturing system for the military—utilizing industrial 3D printing and smart manufacturing technologies for rapid production of drone airframes and parts, flexible response to design changes, and custom component manufacturing.
In the subsequent meeting, various cooperative measures were discussed to substantially improve the operational capabilities of drone forces. Participants exchanged views on a public-military-academic cooperation model linking Lincsolution’s division-tailored drone hardware advancement using 3D printing technology; GA, Narshatek, and Funzin’s AI and KCMVP (Korea Cryptographic Module Validation Program)-based secure communication technologies; and Korea Polytechnic University’s practical drone manufacturing and maintenance training courses.
Choi Hoon, Commander of the Army’s 72nd Infantry Division, stated, “The exceptional 3D printing, AI, and security technologies of the private sector, along with academia’s educational infrastructure, are serving as a tremendous driving force for our division to leap forward as a forward base for cultivating ‘500,000 Drone Warriors.’ Through active communication and organic cooperation, we will do our utmost to develop drone tactics that will lead future battlefields.”
